Until we can sugar again....

3/29/2020

This social distancing time could be used to grow out all the areas you've been wanting sugared. If you are finding yourself going stir crazy and unable to handle the length of your hair; please don’t shave.  Shaving may feel great right now, but remember your first sugaring visit, we don’t want you to go through that again! However, if you absolutely need to get rid of a few stray hairs, you can use tweezers, as it is the only other method of hair removal that will remove the entire hair and root.

If you are experiencing more ingrown hairs than normal; wear those sweatpants, not tight yoga pants, :) Remember that you can order our AHA exfoliating and hydrating serum through our online store.  It is most effective used directly after exfoliating and towel drying the area. Apply 1-2 squirts all along the irritated area and allow a moment to dry before putting clothing on.

Our Online Store!!!

There are a few ways to continue your self-care routines without seeing us in person. We are posting videos to Instagram, we launched our online store which includes suggested use for products, you can purchase gift cards and we are working with other local downtown businesses to bundle pickup and delivery items.

If you are ordering something from any business listed here:  https://www.downtownbeaverton.org/  we'll work together to either deliver directly to you or arrange curbside service. It's not a perfect solution, but we're all working together.

Curbside pickup:
We're doing curbside for prepaid online orders. Arrange for pickup time and call us when you're here.

For in store pickups:
We have a little station set up just inside the door for order pickups. We will remain at least ten feet away from you at all times. We disinfect the table, hand sanitizer bottle, the CC terminal, and door handles after each client. If you pay in cash, we will ask you to place cash in the dedicates bag, zip it shut, and put it in the laundry bin by the table.

We're not open to the public for walk-in business at this time. Please make sure you arrange for pick-up time or delivery request.

We are now offering online consultations. Please email or text us to arrange for either Google Hangout or Face-time.

Hand Washing - Technique is Key

3/18/2020

Everyone knows how to wash their hands, right? It may seem so simple, but many people aren't practicing great hand-washing techniques.
  • Step 1: Wet hands with running water, turn off water.
  • Step 2: Apply enough soap to cover wet hands
  • Step 3: Scrub all surfaces of the hands – including back of hands, between fingers and under nails – for at least 20 seconds. I count one one thousand, two one thousand... 20 one thousand.
  • Step 4: Turn the water back on & rinse thoroughly with running water
  • Step 5: Dry hands with a clean cloth or single-use towel - use towel to turn off water.
This routine will be great to reduce spread of virus, however eventually washing well takes a toll on your skin. We recommend using an unscented lotion. At night when you're done with your bedtime routine, one last washing, slather on the lotion and wear cotton gloves or socks on your hands to repair your hands while you sleep.

Let's take care of each other.

Now that we've contacted most of you to reschedule your appointments, we'd like you to know that we have been able to set up online gift card purchases. They are available on the home page. We're working on menus of our product line and should be able to accept order shortly. We are happy to ship to you or arrange curbside pick-up. Thanks so much for your support.

We are still collecting non-perishable food items for our neighbors living with food insecurity. Our community will rally.

Trisha, Haylei, and Tamara are working together to make sure we're ready to roll when we are able to reopen our doors to you.
